This private luxury villa perches atop a uniquely panoramic site on the Bodrum coast overlooking the Aegean Sea. Quark Studio & Pırıl Kuğu Architects’ approach to this project emphasized two elements of interior design. First, local natural materials were used to maintain continuity between indoor spaces and the pristine coastal landscape. Second, natural lighting was strategically drawn into the villa via a skylight. The villa itself is embedded into the cliff—a strong, stabilizing foundation for this impressive, one-of-a-kind home.

The incredible geographic formation upon which the villa rests affords each floor its own distinctive panorama. On the ground floor, the living room features large windows that allow for a seamless visual transition between indoor and outdoor spaces and that maximize the panoramic view. Upstairs several spacious bedrooms, again with large windows, look out over stunning seaside scenery.

The villa’s refined interior showcases local, natural materials, including stone and wood. Book-matched marble floors, locally sourced stone walls and custom-designed furniture articulate connections to Bodrum’s abundant natural beauty across indoor spaces. Book-matched marble veneer anchors the color palette of the space, which is accented by a white plaster ceiling with touches of metallic black.

In addition to Quark’s meticulous attention to the aesthetic elements of this project, our team’s design ensures the comfort of the villa’s residents and guests through a number of innovative choices. A heat recovery system, multiple glazing, efficient insulation, LED lighting, and energy-efficient appliances have been installed to make the villa nearly energy-neutral and ready for truly long-term sustainability. Both the master and guest bedrooms feature indulgent amenities including custom-designed beds, spacious dressing rooms, and luxurious ensuite bathrooms. Just below, a large L-shaped infinity pool offers the villa’s inhabitants both a recreational pastime and yet another way to experience the cliff-top panorama that makes this villa so wonderfully unique.
