Designing places people come back to
A commercial building has to earn its visitors every day. Whether it is a restaurant, a spa, a beach club or a factory, it has to work for the business behind it and give the people who come in a reason to return.
We start from the way a place is used over a day — deliveries, preparation and service behind the scenes, the arrival and the first view in front — and from what makes it recognisable. We design the architecture and the interiors together, with materials and details chosen to stand up to heavy daily use.
Our commercial work
In Baghdad we designed the 12,000 m² Dijlah Village Complex, a complex of restaurants and lounges, and, for the same client, the Seafood Restaurant, the Steak House, the Shisha Lounge and a Traditional Turkish Restaurant. In Bodrum we designed the Beach Rouge beach club, Stella* Restaurant and the LUX* Me Spa, and in Burgas the Altest Debelt Factory.
We stay with each project from the first sketch to the opening day, working with the client’s operations team and the engineering consultants at every stage.
