Ayk Çavuşyan Mimarlık Bürosu (“Quark Studio Architects”, “we”) runs quark-studio.com and is the data controller for the personal data described here.

2. What we collect and why
We only collect what each situation below needs; statistics and marketing run only after you accept them in the cookie banner.

Files you add to the contact form or to a job application are first checked on our web host: we check each file’s real type from its content; pictures are saved again from their pixels, so hidden data such as the camera’s location is not kept; PDFs that contain scripts, attachments or actions are refused, and so are Word files with macros, embedded objects or links to content elsewhere. Files that pass are then saved to our company’s Google Drive (Google Workspace), in a shared drive only our staff can open, and deleted from the web host. The website can add files there but cannot delete them; we delete them by hand 24 months after they arrive. The e-mail that tells us about your message or application links to the files; it does not carry them.
If you do not accept Analytics, Google receives only cookie-free signals that do not identify your device; it uses them to estimate visitor numbers. We do not sell personal data and do not make automated decisions about you.
3. Cookies
The site sets seven cookies of its own; before you choose in the cookie banner, only necessary ones are set (lifetimes measured on quark-studio.com on 17 October 2026).

YouTube, Kuula and Google Maps may set their own cookies on their domains when you play a video, open a tour or use the map; Meta may also use its own cookies on facebook.com and instagram.com. Their policies apply to those cookies.
4. Who receives your data
Our website and e-mail run on services based outside Türkiye, so the data in section 2 is transferred abroad to these providers.

We transfer data abroad under KVKK Art. 9 and, for visitors from the EU/EEA, under GDPR Chapter V, using the safeguards these providers offer (for example standard contractual clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework). We share data with authorities only when the law requires it.
5. Your rights
You can ask us at any time what we hold about you and have it corrected or deleted; we answer within 30 days, free of charge.
Under KVKK Art. 11 you may:
- learn whether we process your personal data and request information about it;
- learn the purpose of the processing and whether the data is used for that purpose;
- know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom it is transferred;
- ask for incomplete or wrong data to be corrected, and for data to be deleted or destroyed under KVKK Art. 7;
- ask that third parties who received the data are told about such corrections or deletions;
- object to a result against you that comes only from automated analysis;
- claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.
If you are in the EU/EEA, the GDPR also gives you the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection, and you can withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier processing.
