Quark Studio was hired for the architectural and interior design of an exclusive villa in Izmir, Turkey by Ülker family. Situated on a peaceful residential street of central Izmir, the three-storey villa allows residents to watch the trees changing colors every season. Quark Studio Architects’ design concept for this villa with splendid views of the Aegean Sea, sets luxury and contemporary style as its guiding principles.

The villa consists of a cozy living room with a stylish dining area, an open kitchen, and a guest bathroom on the first floor. The living area overlooking the city and the sea is furnished with contemporary style, customized furniture. The harmonious use of white and beige color palette in furniture along with the grey marble flooring brings a bright and fresh look to the living and dining areas. The kitchen is equipped with basic appliances and it also features a convivial terrace overlooking the lawn in the backyard. In addition to its inviting interiors, the villa offers a heated underground swimming pool with a seating area to relax.

Upstairs are the bedrooms of the villa, which can be reached by a home lift. All the bedrooms are furnished with white and beige colors blended with natural wood and laminate flooring, which add a soft and natural tone to the environment. The master bedroom includes a small dressing room and a seating area with a panoramic city view. All bedrooms feature ensuite bathrooms with dark and light grey marble walls and flooring.

The project is an example of a small-sized upscale villa in an urban setting with luxurious and contemporary decor. The use of high-quality materials, complementary textures and aesthetic use of lighting bring sophistication to the interiors. In addition to the elegant interior design, Quark Studio Architects benefitted from the position of the villa at the highest level during the architectural design to ensure that each unit offers the best views for the residents and guests.
