The most sustainable building is often the one that already stands. We give existing buildings a new life, reworking their plans, structure and interiors for a new use while keeping the character that makes them worth saving.

Respect for What Is There

In Istanbul’s Sultanahmet, the former Narlı Hotel, a much-loved local landmark, became an 11-room boutique hotel with the ADD Restaurant, with deep respect for the original structure and its place on the historic peninsula.

A New Use, a Familiar Character

Every room at Narlı offers a private Turkish hammam and its own balcony: new comfort that belongs to the building’s setting instead of erasing it.

Upgraded for Today

Reuse is also technical work: new layouts, building services and finishes that meet today’s standards, so an old building performs like a new one.
