The excerpt from the author,

The hotel itself is a beautiful resort with loads of facilities – an outdoor cinema with cushions, throw blankets and unlimited popcorn. There is a pirate ship Kids Club and small basketball court for children. The water-fountain and paddling pool were still under construction during my visit, but are set to be completed by the end of May 2018. The Spa is great for yoga and pilates before breakfast, and boasts a variety of different spa treatments. The Bar and balcony on the 4th floor is perfect for an aperitif whilst overlooking the most romantic sunset in Bodrum.

LUX* Bodrum also offers activities for both children and adults, including a coffee making workshop at Lux Café, and ice-cream making workshops in their kitchens; both are great fun, and a great way to meet their baristas and chefs. The hotel also offers a professional photography service called PhotoFanatics which captures all of your holiday memories.

Guests can lounge on the beach all day – the largest private beach cove in Bodrum which is absolutely gorgeous. There are plenty of sunbeds all free of charge except the curtained sun-boxes (500 Lira per day). Otherwise, the guests can spend the day by the infinity pool – not heated but perfectly refreshing.

There are two restaurants onsite; the main restaurant ‘Stella’ is an Italian restaurant of excellent quality with prices not being too outrageous. The wine selection is limited with the only offerings being the local wine made especially for the hotel ‘Scrucap’ – however these are of fine quality and pair nicely with many different dishes. ‘Beach Rouge’ offers the same wines and is fantastic for a Turkish lunch. During the evening, this area converts into a space for a more casual dinner in ‘Bodrum Blue’ – here you can select freshly caught local fish for dinner. ‘Beach Rouge’ also boasts a shisha lounge and DJ in the evenings making the space feel more like a fun beach club, perfect for a drink and a dance.
